Sodom: “Get What You Deserve” – La Rivincita del Thrash Metal

31 anni dopo la sua uscita originale, il sesto album studio di Sodom, “Get What You Deserve”, sta per essere rivissuto in una versione deluxe che promette di portare un nuovo livello di intensità e violenza al classico del thrash metal.

La band tedesca, composta da Tom Angelripper (bass e voce), Andy Brings (chitarra) e Atomic Steif (batteria), aveva già dimostrato la sua capacità di creare musica di alta qualità con l’EP “Aber Bitte Mit Sahne”, preceduto dall’album “Perfume Abused” del 1989.

Ma è proprio con “Get What You Deserve” che Sodom ha raggiunto il suo punto più alto, con un album che esalta la sua personalità di band thrash metal pura e semplice.

La Storia Dietro L’Album

“Get What You Deserve” è stato registrato nel 1993, durante una delle fasi più creative della storia del gruppo. La band aveva appena assunto Atomic Steif come batterista e stava lavorando a un nuovo album che doveva dimostrare la sua capacità di creare musica di alta qualità.

La produzione dell’album è stata curata da Andy Brings, che era anche il chitarrista della band al momento. La mixazione e il mastering sono stati fatti da Brings in collaborazione con Wolfgang Stach, un produttore tedesco che aveva già lavorato con Sodom.

La Versione Deluxe

L’uscita della versione deluxe di “Get What You Deserve” promette di essere un evento importante per gli appassionati di thrash metal. La box set include cinque LP, un libro, una poster, un DVD e un backpatch limitato a 150 copie.
