La stagione dei festival estivi sta per iniziare e i primi annunci sono arrivati. La Download Festival 2026 ha annunciato i suoi tre headliner: Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park e Limp Bizkit. Questo trio di band leggendarie sarà il cuore pulsante del festival, che si svolgerà dal 10 al 14 giugno a Donington Park in Derby, UK.

La Download Festival è stata uno dei maggiori festival rock britannici degli anni ’90 e ’00, e questo anno sembra essere un ritorno ai suoi antenati. Il roster completo di artisti partecipanti è stato pubblicato e include band come Bad Omens, Cypress Hill, Trivium, Architects e molti altri.

La scelta di questi tre headliner è stata probabilmente motivata dal desiderio di offrire un mix di stili e generi musicali per soddisfare le esigenze di un pubblico sempre più vario. Guns N’ Roses, con la loro musica di rock blues, Linkin Park, che ha segnato una radica svolta nel genere con il suo nü-metal, e Limp Bizkit, che ha conquistato i palchi con il suo nü-metal ed heavy metal, saranno sicuramente i nomi più discussi del festival.
